Mission Statement

The Columbia Hudson Partnership was created in March 1995 as an alliance between the Columbia Economic Development Corporation and the Columbia Development Leasing Corporation. Our mission is to strengthen the County tax base through economic development and job creation, to assist businesses small and large with training and financial assistance, and to promote Columbia County as an ideal place to live, work and play.

The Partnership serves as the lead economic development agency for Columbia County, and in conjunction with the State of New York and other partners, assists with business retention, expansion and attraction efforts throughout the County.

An affiliated organization, the Columbia County Industrial Development Agency (IDA), helps facilitate the financing of both industrial and non-industrial projects through the issuance of tax-exempt Industrial Revenue Bonds. The Columbia County IDA, formed in 1976, has seven members appointed by the County Board of Supervisors. The board meets bi-monthly and as needed in the offices of the Columbia Hudson Partnership, which provides the IDA with staff and support services.

The Partnership’s offices are located at 610 State Street in Hudson, New York.
